Nuova tassa per soggiorni nello stato del Quintana Roo, effettiva dal 01/04/2021:

VISITAX
• As of April 1, 2021, VISITAX comes into force to facilitate the payment of the foreign
tourist usage fee.
• Payment can be done through the web portal http://visitax.gob.mx/
• Foreign tourists can pay before or during their stay in Quintana Roo.
Cancun, Quintana Roo, March 31, 2021. - The State Ministry of Finance and Planning
(SEFIPLAN), through the Quintana Roo State Tax Administration System (SATQ), announces
the entry into force as of April 1, 2021, of the payment of the usage fee for those foreign
tourists who have vacationed in the State.
The VISITAX web portal is a technological tool that allows foreign tourists to make the
payment of $224 Mexican pesos before and/or during their stay. Proof of payment
(exemplified below) must be downloaded to be presented at the airport prior to departure.
In case of not having completed the process in advance, tourists will receive assistance at
the airport to do it at that time.
To make the payment, tourists must fill out a simple form at http://visitax.gob.mx/ with the
following information:
§ Number of people traveling,
§ Name, age, and passport number – individually,
§ Departure date,
§ Make electronic payment safely.
It is important to note that, if traveling with family or in a group, the payment can be made
in a single exhibition with individual receipts, as long as the required information is fully
loaded into the portal. Also, visitors crossing the southern border with Belize by land will
have a 100% fiscal stimulus; therefore will not have to make the payment.

Comunicado de la Secretaría de Finanzas y Planeación (SEFIPLAN) N° 373: VISITAX
• A partir del 01 de abril de 2021 entra en vigor VISITAX para facilitar el pago del
aprovechamiento al turismo extranjero.
• Podrá realizarse desde el portal web http://visitax.gob.mx/
• El turista extranjero podrá cubrirlo antes de su llegada o durante su estancia.
Cancún, Quintana Roo a 31 de marzo de 2021. – La Secretaría de Finanzas y Planeación
(SEFIPLAN), a través del Servicio de Administración Tributaria de Quintana Roo (SATQ), da
a conocer que a partir del 1 de abril de 2021 entra en vigor el pago del aprovechamiento
por parte de los turistas extranjeros que hayan vacacionado en el Estado.
El portal web de VISITAX es una herramienta tecnológica que les permite a los turistas
extranjeros realizar el pago por la cantidad de $224 pesos mexicanos antes y/o durante su
estancia. El comprobante de pago (ejemplificado a continuación) deberá ser descargado
para posteriormente mostrarlo en el aeropuerto antes de su salida. En caso de no haberlo
realizado con antelación, recibirán asistencia en el aeropuerto para hacerlo en ese
momento.
Para realizar el pago se deberá llenar un sencillo formulario en http://visitax.gob.mx/ con
la siguiente información:
â–ª Número de personas que viajan,
â–ª Nombre, edad y número de pasaporte de forma individual,
â–ª Fecha de salida,
â–ª Realizar el pago electrónico de forma segura.
Es importante señalar que, si la visita es en familia o en grupo, el pago se puede efectuar en
una sola exhibición y con comprobantes individuales, siempre y cuando los datos se carguen
por completo dentro del portal. Asimismo, los visitantes que crucen la frontera sur con
Belice por vía terrestre contarán con un estímulo fiscal del 100%, es decir, no tendrán que
realizar el pago.
